DIURNE
“The Virgin, the vivacious and the beautiful today”…. Marcel Zelmanovitch had this title of a poem by Mallarmé in mind when he opened his gallery in 1982. This is a celebration of the day and today, that is to say of what is always possible because only carried by a momentum, an energy, a flame. Thus he created the first French publishing gallery of unique and tailor-made carpets created by decorators and designers. Thanks to him, we are rediscovering the great craftsmanship of carpets, which turns its back on mass production with the creation of exceptional objects.
